Privacy Policy
This policy describes information handled through QRVisual at qrvisual.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@qrvisual.com.
QR generation and scanning
The static generator and scanner process QR text, links, contact details, Wi-Fi credentials, UPI details, logos, images, CSV content and camera frames inside your browser. QRVisual does not upload these inputs to its server or intentionally pass them to advertising services. A QR code is not encryption: anyone with the code can decode its contents. Opening a decoded destination sends information to that destination under its own privacy policy.
Camera access starts when you choose it and your browser grants permission. Frames are processed locally. You can stop the camera or leave the scanner page to end access.
Optional AI assistant integration
The QRVisual MCP integration at https://qrvisual.com/api/mcp/ is different from the browser generator. If you connect it to ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code or another compatible assistant, the QR fields you provide are sent to the QRVisual endpoint to generate the requested image. QRVisual does not intentionally retain QR payloads, create user accounts for the integration, or store them in a database. A short-lived, IP-only rate-limit record may be used to protect the service from abuse. Do not submit passwords, PINs, OTPs, payment-card details or other highly sensitive information through any QR tool.
Suggestions and support
If you submit a suggestion, we receive your name, email, optional phone number, category, message and any optional use-case details. These are emailed to contact@qrvisual.com to review suggestions, reply, improve the service and prevent abuse. Do not submit passwords, PINs, OTPs or payment-card details. You can request correction or deletion by contacting us; we may retain information when needed to handle your request, protect the service or meet applicable obligations.
Hosting and technical information
Our hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs and timestamps for service operation and security. Third-party advertising and consent services can also receive technical information when their resources load. Consequently, browser-local QR processing does not mean that the entire website makes no network requests.
Google AdSense and advertising
QRVisual integrates Google AdSense. Ads are subject to Google's approval and account settings and may not appear on every visit. Google and other advertising partners may place or read cookies, use local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers and browser information to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize advertising where permitted.
Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this website and other websites. Learn how Google uses information from partner sites and visit My Ad Center to manage personalized advertising. Participating third-party advertising choices are also available through YourAdChoices. Browser settings can restrict cookies; this may affect service functionality.
Google Analytics
QRVisual uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and improve the website. Depending on your browser and the enabled measurement features, this may include page views, scrolling, outbound link clicks, downloads, site-search activity, video interactions, and form interactions, along with technical details such as browser/device information and the page path. QRVisual removes query strings and fragments from page-view URLs. We do not intentionally send QR text, links entered into the generator, Wi-Fi or UPI details, vCard data, uploaded logos, CSV contents, scanner images, or camera frames to Google Analytics, and we do not create analytics events containing those values.
For visitors covered by Google's European consent flow, the Analytics tag is loaded only when the Google consent signal says analytics storage is granted or consent is not applicable. If analytics consent is denied or unavailable, the tag is not loaded. You can revisit your choices using Privacy & cookie settings where the Google consent interface is available. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
Consent and choices
Where required, a consent message provides choices before advertising uses requiring consent. Visitors can accept, decline or manage the displayed purposes and partners. When Google's consent interface is available, use Privacy & cookie settings to revisit your choices. The QR tools are free to use and do not require you to click an advertisement.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us about information you submitted directly. Google and other partners manage their own data and settings under their policies.
