Creating QR codes

Why does my QR code not scan?

Increase foreground/background contrast, restore a standard quiet zone, remove or shrink the logo, select higher error correction, and test at a larger size.

Can I change a static QR after printing?

No. Static content is stored directly in the pattern. Create and print a new code if the destination changes.

How do I make a PDF QR code?

Upload the PDF to a public web location first, copy its shareable HTTPS link, then paste it into the PDF QR tool. QRVisual does not upload or host your document.

How do I get a Google review link?

Open your Google Business Profile, choose the option to ask for reviews, and copy its direct review link into the Rating QR tool.

Design & readability

Keep the foreground darker than the background. Do not crop the clear margin around the code. When using a logo, High error correction is safest. Decorative QR codes must always be tested on multiple phones before distribution.

Download & print

PNG works well for websites, social posts, and office documents. SVG is best for commercial printing because it stays sharp at any size. As a practical starting point, print at least 2 × 2 cm for close-range scanning and increase the size with viewing distance.
